Took my boy and his buddy to Monsters vs. Aliens.  We saw the preview, and it was pretty obvious that it was right up my alley, with all of the characters and references pretty familiar to a 46 yr-old sci fi/comic/fantasy/horror fan.

The Blob.  a pretty scarey movie for a 10 yr old.

Mothra.  a “good” monster.  I kept waiting for the little japanese girls to start singing ” moooooooooothaaaaaaaaaaaaaaraaaaaaaaaa”.

Creature from the Black Lagoon.  still one of  the classics.

The Fly.  Vincent Price.  Jeff Goldblum.  Dr. Coackroach.

Attack of the 50-foot Women.  Every man’s nightmare. LOL

I enjoyed it.
